First of all I would like to express my deep appreciation and gratitude to Daniel Ingram for his book Mastering The Core Teachings Of The Buddha.

Second, I have a question: does anyone know anything about book THE TREATISE ON THE METHOD OF VIPASSANA INSIGHT MEDITATION Which can speedily lead to the attainment of Magga-Phala-Nibbana by Ven. Mahasi Sayadaw ?

Hi Yuliya,

I don't know of a book by that exact title. If you're interested in Mahasi Sayadaw's method of vipassana, I would read Practical Insight Meditation. This is Daniel Ingram's favorite dharma book. You can read the full version of the book for free at Google Books...

Practice well,

If I understand what you're looking for, I believe that book has not been completely translated into English yet. The link that Jackson gave is to a chapter from that book (which has been translated). Apparently though the translation is under way. Personally, I look forward to seeing it when it's done.

I was given a translated manuscipt in one of the temples in Mahasi tradition. They are looking for the ways to publish it but didn't publish yet. I feel bad that I am unable to share it now. I have to say that I was unaware of the fact that this book wasn't even published yet. I only realized it now.

Dear Yuliya, thank you for your efforts, but I am not familiar with .rar files, and do not know how to open the Mahassi volume files. Can someone help me? I'd really appreciate reading the entire Treatise. http://dharmaoverground.wetpaint.com/page/Book+Reviews

After you download and save the files on your computer - In Windows, just right click on the file and choose Extract Files.
It is a rar archive, the file was too large, I had to compress it.

I am very greatful to my teacher for accepting me from day 1, for giving to me this manuscript and for talking openly to me.
