An Eternal Now: "Actual Freedom & Buddhism"

If you haven't already read it, I highly recommend An Eternal Now's piece on "Actual Freedom & Buddhism", not purely for his very insightful deconstruction and analysis of "an actual freedom from the human condition", but also for the amount of practical information it contains. It also gives a very useful breakdown of the correspondences between various models currently used within the pragmatic/hardcore dharma community, particularly how things like up with Thusness' model experientially, which may be helpful to those struggling to understand it.

Well worth a read, without a doubt.

I'll definitely check it out. I started reading AEN's ebook "Who Am I?" last week and it's full of great stuff.

it has been renamed to "awakening to reality", and I have been doing some editing by going through the text from beginning. However time does not permit much for now

Hey AEN. I don't know if this is something you have in mind by editing the ebook, but I would love to help out with formatting it. I have a pretty nice template for ebooks that I just worked out and if this sounds interesting, get in contact and we could have a chat about it.

I understand that you would like to communicate through the "Messages" section of the DhO, aka "PM" (i.e. private messages)?

I converted it from PDFs to the Kindle format with the program Mobi Pocket Creator, which makes for convenient highlighting and note taking, and can be used on any platform that has a Kindle app.

I've found everything I've read so far by An Eternal Now to be very helpful.
I'd read this previously and agree it's a very good text. I'm also slowly going through his e book, slowly because I often find things I end up re-reading.

Brian.

Fully agreed and I tried to post his conversations on the blog, but was unfortunately asked to take it down for some reason I.e. he does not wish to appear like a teacher (he had turned down a few of such requests - those who request him to be their teacher). But I do hope he will teach one day.
