I've been there for a weekend retreat. The accommodations are really clean and the retreat center itself if quiet, great for insight practice. I'd highly recommend going if you want to avoid the new age/boomer-dharma crowd. Its a no-nonsense retreat center for serious practitioners.

Update: I just got back from the 2013 March month long retreat.
Also, there is a month long retreat there in June 2013 which will be led by Sayadaw Pandita. He is 93 years old and this may be his last US retreat.
Anyway, I highly recommend TMC.
They are serious and don't waste your time. Also, they charge, these days, $25 a day. I judge this as totally reasonable.
I respect TMC and the people there.
