How can I embed an original photo in my practice journal?

Threads [ Previous | Next ]
Dear all,

I would like to occasionally embed an original photo to augment my practice journal. I have my photos on Picasa and in Dropbox and can obtain a link for an image, but so far I'm unable to embed a photo by pasting the link in the field I get by using the image icon or by using the source button and enclosing the linking URL with image tags.

Could someone kindly explain how to embed photos? Also, if you know recommended size for photos, then that would be great.

Thank you,
Jenny

Those hosting services might be preventing off-domain use. Try attaching the image to one of your posts and grabbing the (now-DhO-hosted) file address and wrapping that in the img tags.

Thanks so much, John! That worked brilliantly: I have a beautiful photo of my oil lamp's flame, with which I was doing fire kasina meditation.

Wow, that is a handsome flame. I am surprised the picture picks it up so well.

Also, your new photo in the multi-mirrors: neat.

Yeah, I'm really going to have me some fun now! And, Katy, your talking to me about the DhO as being a "mirror" was the inspiration for that profile picture. emoticon

I am going to "join" your kasina practice a little bit each evening. Your kasina picture is so welcoming. Thank you.
