Shel S:
Interesting post. What do you believe the source of natural behavior to be, if not the ego?
Hi Shel, I'd say Nature...or Life. Being this way definitely puts me in a "flow" state where I feel in tune with everything around me. It creates a very good jumping off point for meditation (meditation that I feel like I want to do, rather than that which feels like a chore).
Dale, right on. Honest speech. I'm usually a bit too honest and have to curb myself at times because I don't like the ramifications of being too blunt (meaning that I don't like hurting people and I don't like them trying to hurt me). But the other areas I can always improve and take further. One day, because I was locked out of my house, I actually went to work in track pants. I explained to clients what happened but then realized that they didn't care - well some looked shocked but most didn't care. After a while I stopped explaining myself and it was so freeing. This is a job where a neat professional look is very much expected.
