I'm thinking about turning a room in my house into a group mediation room. Just curious as to what would be the cheapest way for me to get my hands on 8-10 zafus/zabutons? Thanks.

They are surprisingly expensive. Cheapest are probably on ebay or amazon.  If you were crafty you could sew your own, but that would take time. Would you consider using chairs instead. In the sitting group I used to go to we just sat in (dining room) chairs, on the sofa and there were some extra folding chairs if there was a large turnout, and if people wanted to sit on cushions they just brought their own. Folding chairs you can find cheap second hand, but cheap second hand zafus and zabatons are a little harder to find.

You could probably get a deal from one of the sites that sells them.  Otherwise they will be approx $100-150 for each zafu/zabuton.  Kinda fucked up...

I guess when they market it as a "must have" in order to attain "eternal bliss, fulfillment and enlightenment", $150 doesn't sound so bad! If push comes to shove, I might reach out to some meditation groups to see if they have some extra cushions they're trying to get rid off. I appreciate the suggestions!
