Nice article. Here's another - a blog post from David Chapman:
Vividness - Meditation Risks, Safety, Goals, and Methods
As always with David, this is a thorough and practical commentary which, by the way, also refers the reader to Willoughby Britton's Cheetah House.

I've gained a new level of respect for the quality of resources coming of out Cheetah House. Creating good neuro biological frameworks for practice can be a very useful way to understand things.

For some years the media just focused on the positive side of mindfulness, so now we have the necessary "backlash", to balance things out.
However, one side-note: most people are probably just going to read the headline and say "oh, so mindfulness is bad, all those people meditating are just fooling themselves"; or "So mindfulness was just a fad all along" (e.g. Jordan Peterson publicly stated this multiple times). In the region I live in, some priests are preaching that meditation and yoga are satanist practices that damage your soul. They are going to be very happy with this BBC headline.
