DhO Tripping Out!

Hey,

The site has been tripping out on me for the last couple of days.

The first time it happened everything went green.

Now the background is a mustard yellow color and the various buttons are all discombobulated (love that word).

I've attached a screen shot of what I'm seeing to this post.

Just FYI for anyone concerned.

The DhO site periodically goes through short stints (sometimes end-user personal, sometimes global) where something in the template-style code hits a hiccup and it looks abnormal for a few hours. Now that I think about it, it happens in an oddly predictable cyclical pattern, and it never effect the content... Perhaps it just hit a new path; unfortunately not until after its' dark night shenanigans spilled over into the lives of others ;].

True, the way Liferay handles CSS causes instability. I have had this happen also. You can try closing your browser, opening the DhO in another one, such as trade Firefox for Safari or Explorer or whatever, and see if that helps. It usually reverts soon enough to something normal.

Hey Guys,

It's been fine for the past few days. Switching from safari to firefox helped initially but not permanently. Eventually it just fixed itself. Just one of those things.

Yeah man, no problem:

-----------
div#amorality {
position: here-now;
width: -%; height: -%;
display: flexible;
}
-----------
<div class="amorality">
(This is where you jump in)
</div>
-----------

Thanks Trent,
That clears things up a lot. I was trying to use this:

-----------
div#behaviorcorrection {
position: relative-reality;
good: 100%; bad: 0%;
display: compassionate;
}
-----------
<div class="behaviorcorrection">
(etc..)
</div>
-----------
