I have read some Robert Anton Wilson tho, and he makes references to Dr.Lilly very often.

I think Lilly's selfmetaprogramming technique, particularly when done with sensory deprivation, seems VERY robust, as unlike vipassana or AF, it deals directly with one's inner psychological "stuff". The more I read, the more I really start to feel like the possibilities with selfmetaprogramming are literally limitless, though it's quite a tough read.

I am a big fan of John Lilly and all of his books
btw, it is called a Sensory Isolation Tank because you are free to exit it at will
