Ajahn Tong Sirimangalo, the Abbot of Wat Chom Tong has recently passed away. He was one of the greatest modern teachers of Vipassana.

I've had the fortunate opportunity to study under him. He was a very kind and wise teacher. His teachings have changed my life forever and I shall always be grateful and remember him as a compassionate being who benefitted hundreds of thousands of souls over the years.
