I've arrived at a point in my life where I can really dive into these things... I had previously bookmarked a point in my future to seriously go after the meditative path. But, from what I've been reading this week, a lot of you guys are off the cushion practicing this AF stuff... What I'm reading is that practicing vipassana is actually detrimental to AF practice and a huge waste of time (if that website is anything to go by)... what do?

Vipassana practice I do believe has enhanced my practice towards AF. For others it isnt neccessary. This may be a very personal , individual thing.
