When we encounter infinate bliss in the first and second jhana there is only one remedy that will save us both the effort and memory of changing up to the third jhana.
(Mindfulness need not be present in the beginning)
Humor.
If mindfulness is present, we call that insight meditation, even for only a brief moment.
If mindfulness becomes weak, we may get stuck in a fractal. If the fractal spans more than one jhana, it is likely to seed psychosis.
A warning and yet an encouragement.
