Also, the consider typical bullshit of "oh just consider my sentence" instead of considering the agenda that I set, how I framed the topic, the things I chose to talk about, the words I chose to use.  This, Exactly This, is the putrid corruption of modern society.  But usually we don't notice becuase the lies are so carefully practiced.

I appreciate the information you share specifically interpreting the fundamental words of the Buddha - or at least as close to it as we can get in modern times. I dislike your lack of compassion. Anyway - I'm sorry for outing you on the forum and making you unleash all sorts of weirdness. I was being intentionally antagonistic to do it, but now that I have, I regret it. I can see that simply reading the dharma obsessively and with zeal is insufficient and I will continue to strive mightily in my sitting practice. 

It's good to appear nice. People underestimate you and let their guard down. 

Which of course is not a problem if THEY are nice. Or at least appear so.

• personal responsibility: you take responsibility for the choices you make and what you say and claim
• a lack of taboos surrounding talking about attainments
• the assumption that the various aspects of meditative development can be mastered in this life
• the spirit of mutual, supportive adventurers on the path rather than rigid student-teacher relationships
• and the notion that the collective wisdom of a group of strong practitioners at various stages and from various traditions and backgrounds is often better than following one guru-type.

If you are interested in the topics we emphasize here and in maintaining a culture conducive to supporting deep and open discussions of these things, then you are welcome here.
