I know lots of people here have found much value in the Access to Insight website, as well as the Dharma talks & books by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.. so thought I'd pass this tidbit along for those who might be in the area:

He's teaching a daylong in Los Angeles, Saturday August 13th from 9:00am - 4:30pm. It is $50, but they do offer scholarship or work study according to the posting below.

He is deeply respected by the Thai community. I believe him to be an amazing teacher.
