The Open Dharma Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, is hiring an Executive Director.  ODF’s mission is to provide scholarships to attend silent meditation retreats to applicants who couldn’t otherwise afford to go.  The Executive Director will be responsible for building and maintaining networks with dharma centers, previous donors, and potential new donors, with the goal of raising funds.  The ideal applicant has experience with donor management and fundraising, and preferably a personal interest in meditation retreats.  
The position will be paid $40/hour for a maximum of 4 hours per week on a 6-month trial basis.  It would be possible to expand the position to more hours if the Executive Director is able to bring in funds to support this.  No benefits are presently included in this 1099 contract position.  The candidate would ideally be located and legally able to work in the United States, though it may be possible to hire international applicants.
