I found a fault in the translation to Swedish on page 168, A&P.

The original sentence: “Better not to begin. Once begun, better to finish!”

The translated sentence: ”Bäst att inte börja. Och om man börjat, bäst att sluta!” In english it would be: "Better not to begin. Once begun, better to stop!"

​​​​​​​Reading a translated work is like reading a new author. I also found other things in the Swedish version that could be changed. Language easily plays funny games in the mind... Finding reality is not allways as easy. I think it would be great to change it, the fault. If I can get in contact with the author, I can give some suggestions.

come from the lineages? Or storm (like  ) from the lineages? haha

The word "hail" in that sentence means "come from." Replace "hail" with "come from," and the meaning should be much more clear to you.

Paraphrasing:

I belong to certain specific lineages.
Other people also belong to those lineages.
I, as well as those other people, jokingly consider ourselves Dharma Cowboys.

I'm done with the changes in the MCTB Swedish document. It's in format docx now. Do you know how to covert it to PDF without changing the pages relative to the table of contents?

I got an interesting problem to choose the right swedish word for "interdependent" on the first page of MCTB. I think it can serve us a good contemplation to find the right solution for this together. You might feel the same with the english version?

For you swedish people: I den nuvarande svenska versionen i wiki. Är ordet "allomfattande" valt. Alltså: "En ovanligt handfast bok om Dharma av Det Allomfattande Universum men konventionellt tillskriven Arahant Daniel M. Ingram" I min reviserade version har jag valt "Inbördes beroende". Altså: "En ovanligt handfast bok om Dharma av Det Inbördes Beroende Universum men konventionellt tillskriven Arahant Daniel M. Ingram, MD MSPH"The magic of the you tube music vanished a bit.
