True, there is a taboo against claiming enlightenment. Question- is a seeker who claims to have attained enlightenment still a seeker?

Well, yes. A seeker taking a pee is still a seeker. A seeker claiming enlightenment is still a seeker. The answer is already implied in your question ("is a seeker... a seeker?")
So, rephrase your question, maybe? What is it you really want?
Cheers,
Florian

If they're not seeking, they are not seekers.
So, what's going on here? What's the need for this question (what is being sought)?
Can we get it down to earth a bit?
Cheers,
Florian
