Now is the time for me to go on retreat. I have resigned myself to the fact that progress and a life of pure happiness are inevitable.
I've never been before and I haven't got money to spare.

If you don't mind working for five hours a day, then I recommend Gaia House work retreats:

Goenka retreats are also free. The Suffolk ones are closest to you. See:
