A description of some meditation experiences

Written from a secular background, but a fairly different one than that which we often see here (on the DhO). It could be very interesting to read, depending on where you are in your practice.

No purpose in posting this other than to share this interesting find.

part one had some interesting descriptions with all the signs of progress through the insight stages or nana

mind and body
cause and effect
A&P
dark night
equanimity

I wondered what the outcome/progress would have been if more time was spent directly investigating the 3 Cs. Unfortunately many books and teachings on how to meditate dont give them the emphasis needed

I thought the emphasis on psychological processes was interesting and wondered if it was or wasn't a viable approach. The author did seem to make all kinds of useful progress, whether or not he got MCTB 1st path or whatever.

Anyone else meditated using an approach like this? Was it valuable? Did it get you MCTB 1st path?
