Concise audio instructions on MCTB noting

Does anyone have a link to audio instructions for noting? I've been scouring the usual podcasts and youtube channels. There is material on every subject, but I'm not finding this fundamental teaching.

Thanks for any help.

Don Loristo posted a link in another topic and I think it might be just what you're looking for.

Hahaha. Yeah, it's for a friend who - gasp! - does not have a computer other than his smartphone.

I did find some good pointers in the first link from Flavo. Mahasi talks about Ven. Ananda going from first to fourth path in one night by noting both on and off the cushion. I've made no effort to note off-cushion, but I think this will motivate me to try it.

If it would be useful to your friend, or you, I'd be happy to record something about this? My accent is quite heavy but I think I'm legible enough to be able to describe the basics of noting clearly. I have a good recording setup and decent equipment so I can do it in high-quality at whichever audio format suits.

What a generous offer! Thank you. I think the above links will work, and we'll see if he has any real interest. It would be cool though if you could address him by name in the recording. It would be like having personal meditation instruction from Sean Connery.

No probs, it just made sense to offer; if something wasn't already available and I had the means, and necessary experiential knowledge to make it available then why not say so! I was toying with the idea of doing something similar to that anyway so the offer's there if you need it. Be warned though, I'm dreadfully forgetful sometimes. emoticon
