London DhO meet: June 17th

The next DhO meet in London is Sunday June 17th at 12 midday at Vantra in Soho. Our meets are now a regular thing on the third Sunday of each month at the same venue. The address is given at the bottom of the post.

Anyone who has an open and investigative approach to enlightenment/contemplative practices is welcome, including lurkers on this site and non-members. We've had growing interest in the meets so I'm anticipating a good turnout. I will be inviting some non-DhO members too; feel free to do the same.

If you're feeling a touch shy then feel free to ask questions here or to PM me. I will be along at 11:45 if anyone wants an introduction. If anyone requires assistance in terms of accessibility or transport, we may be able to help.

This will be the last London meet that I will be able to make for a while as I am moving to Germany, so I am hoping that others will take it upon themselves to continue to organise the meets, as everyone seems to have got so much out of them! I will be attempting to set up the same format in Berlin and come to further London meets when I am in the country.

I will think about you and enjoy Geneva Lake. The next third Sunday I will enjoy monsoon in Delhi. But in August we can make meet up and think about Liam and his life in Germany or it might be that Liam will come from Berlin. It is not far.emoticon

The Jubilee stuff is so impressive in terms of how much admiration the Brits have for the Queen and Royal family. Leaders who have earned admiration! What a concept! I understand they're not politicians making the hard daily decisions but it's very refreshing nonetheless. Obama, Jintao.... are you watching?

I'd really like to visit again sometime. Stroll along the Thames. Very nice indeed.
