Hello Everybody,
I'm wondering what kind of emotional life Buddha had. During his life as a prince, he had many deep emotional connections with his family members, friends, and teachers. His emotional life was very rich. I wonder what happened to it when he became enlightened. How does being enlightened affect one's emotions?
Love,
Marino

"How does being enlightened affect one's emotions?"
There is awareness of such emotions and myriad things arise-passing with it.
As for Buddha's life ... well I wasn't there at that time so ...
p.s. also Its far safer (and less painful) to think in terms of an "awakened fluctuating moment" rather then a solid and "permanent enlightenment".
Arahants talk about a certain "permanent shift" in perception but I would not lose my head over that thing
BTW, not that Im enlightened, so take my words with a grain of salt!
