How do you finish a timed session? Do you stop at the planned time regardless of the state that you happen to be in, or do you continue for a while to land in a certain state? Do you have some routines before continuing with daily life?
If I happend to be in a tense state when the bell rings, I often continue for a while to calm down a bit. Sometimes it may take for a while, though.

Here's something you might try Teemu: If you know you are headed toward a "tense state" late in your session, stop early. End on a "good note". If you hit that stage early, roll on through it!
Something katy said a little while back made me try this and it seems to help keep my energy balanced through the day.
