If memory serves, it was 16 years ago today, Jan 14, 2008, that Vince and I launched the Dharma Underground on WetPaint, soon to become the Dharma Overground. Feels like another lifetime, wondering if internet years are sort of like dog years...

Anyway, Happy Birthday to this curious experiment and the remarkable conversations and friendships it has spawned! Thanks to everyone who has made it all it has been over the years!

my dms seem broken (it says null?). It should be fine, but a lot of new people are seeing MCTB2 for the first time, so I just expect we might see new users soon with different communication styles and preferences and what not

Geoffrey, I appreciate your concern, but this has been happening on DhO for many years. I try to remember that new users are important. They keep things fresh, sometimes spicy. If things get out of hand, we'll handle it.
