restricted links in wiki

hello - new here. Pleased to have found this site.

Before considering making any substantive post, to avoid raising issues already well covered elsewhere, I would rather to read as much as possible (including already Daniel's excellent book).

Oddly, I find that many (~40%) of links to individual topics in the wiki are (when viewed through my browser) highlighted in red. A click on these brings only an error message regarding "permissions".

I couldn't find any explanation of this, so am left wondering if it is merely a coding error. Or am I missing something?

thanks

Hi Bob,

those are dangling links, i.e. no wiki content has been written for it so far. If you click such a link, Liferay will invite you to write the missing entry - unless you are not a wiki author, in which case you get the error message. A bit convoluted, yes...

If you'd like to contribute to the wiki, send a message to Daniel Ingram.

Cheers,
Florian
