Im sure most don't care, but just so it's noted somewhere.. I changed my nickname. My name is Nick Wilson and I no longer feel the need for the anonymity of Bagpuss nickname.

That's very courteous of you. I changed mine to be more anonymous because I was reading a lot of doomsday cyber-privacy stories and having my credit cards hacked a lot. Anyway, nice to meet you Nick.

Yeh, i completely understand that Jason! Privacy was part of my initial concern also...

Yeah, initially I had my full name as the nick, but once I realized you could find out I was part of the forum by simply googling my name, I changed it.

I certainly don't feel ashamed to participate, but it's not that unlikely to be googled, and I don't want to be judged by someone I don't know. Also, by hiding my identity somewhat, I feel I can say more personal details without getting worried.
