Hey, Evloving Dharma is out and it is really worth reading. Jay is a great guy with a great message and worth supporting in his good work.

Part of the story it tells is about things like this community.

The cover is, well, um, er, uh, what can you say? But the inside is really worth reading. Familiar theme?

He also didn't use the blurb that I sent him originally, which was, "This book was so good I required fresh undergarments after reading it!", and I even offered him $50 if he would use it, but apparently he liked the other one better. Chicken!

Anyway...

Buy it! Read it! Love it!

Not a bad read. I enjoyed it for what it was... of course if you are on this forum you have probably been exposed to much of what he talks about. It tended to get me pissed about the mushroom culture a bit. Intelligently written with a great vocabulary. I would recommend it to anyone who has not yet read MCTB or is kinda starting out but not really into the hardcore/pragmatic practice yet.
Thanks for the recommend Daniel.....I too am patiently waiting for "MCTB-deux, beyond the hardcore!!!" emoticon

I'm reading it right now and learning a lot from it, including about this very site. Now I just need to find out what MCTB (?) means emoticon

I'm a long term Zen and vipassana practitioner, new to your perspective and finding it quite fascinating.

Just ran across this new interview with him. Had not heard of him before. Amazing to find this on the MSM (Dan Harris' podcast, ABC News). They even mention Dark Night of the Soul. Comments, anyone?
