Hello.
Try to find good center for practicing samatha for 0.5-1 year. Maybe somebody know the centers in SriLanka or Thailand.

Hello: If you don't want to spend a lot of money you could always do a residency at the Bhavana Society. It's in West Virginia in the United States. I'm not sure where you're writing from, but it's a beautiful area, and legitimate monastic community where if you are accepted you can stay as long or as short as you want free of charge. You would be required to do some work as part of the community, but much of your time would be spent practicing/speaking with/receiving teachings from the monks there.
