Seems like a couple of months ago an ordained Zen guy came in asking for advice about SE, and my recollection is that he got it within about a week or so.

He was living at a monastery, meditating 3 hours a day for several years, working with the roshi and senior monks, something like that, but he became aware he hadn't popped.

I've tried searching for this thread pretty extensively but can't seem to find it. Anyone have a pointer to that? I got curious about reading thru that again.

I believe I know which poster you are speaking about. It was more than a couple of months ago. More like a year or more, if memory serves.

I don't have those files on the computer I'm using presently, but when I have time will sort through those folders on my other computer to see if I can find the thread you are speaking about. As I recall, there was a lot of subtle detail (i.e., insight) in that thread from which an alert reader might benefit.

Thx. I guess I had imagined the posts to be fairly continuous and thought he had woken up immediately in response to DhO intervention. Didn't quite catch the 8 month gap in posts. Still, nice that he made it.
