Messaging Portlet Up: in beta

Dear All,

The new messaging portlet has been deployed. Let me know what you think of it. It should be faster, more modern-appearing, and not hang like it did before.

If you find problems with it, let me know.

Thanks to Artem Khojoyan for his work on this.
