Recovering old posts by a specific user?

Does anyone remember Tommy M? His posts were always interesting and helpful, but when I look for "Recent Posts" filtered by user, I only get about 20 results, the earliest in 2013. However, when I google certain things, I can find posts by him dating back to 2010. Would anyone happen to know how I can get a page of *all* his posts?

There are some older posts by other users too that I'd like to look up, but they don't show up if they happened before the upgrade...

used to do the same thing Eric....
one way to do this as well as plumb the depths when the current Dho is down is to go to the wayback machine archive - http://archive.org/web/

Here is Tommy's recent posts filtered there - http://web.archive.org/web/20140329010335/http://www.dharmaoverground.org/web/guest/discussion/-/message_boards/recent_posts?_19_groupThreadsUserId=1249249
It give a result of 498 posts....have fun diging deep

When exactly was the upgrade (if you know).
Also, if you don't mind what's the ABC for searching for a specific posters posts?

Thanks DW! What the hell is this wayback thing?? It's so cool... You crazy kids and your google machines.

Piers, you have to find a post by the user you want first, and then under the icon it should say "Recent Posts." It will give a list of posts by that user.

Hi,

The default cut off date for the recent posts button is 365 days, the date of the upgrade to Liferay 6.x is not involved.

I have however raised the recent posts listings to include the last 10 years now, so you should get all of Tommy M's (and other users) posts using the recent posts link now.

Hi,

The upgrade to Liferay 6.2 was performed this may, though I really don't think it's relevant to what's being discussed in this thread.
