Not met her but have been around several people who have -- devotees in the San Francisco Bay Area (Palo Alto). They go to the center nearby in San Ramon whenever she's in town -- 10s of thousands go, wait in line all day for a hug. Heavy-duty Hindhu bhakti (devtotional) practice, which shows up also in some Buddhist corners...
