Teachers in NYC?

Hello. I've never had a guru. I attend meetings of the Vedanta Society and have been to Buddhist groups. I'm looking for some one-on-one guidance from a highly realized teacher in New York City. In terms of traditions, Advaita Vedanta and Buddhism (in particular Mahayanist schools, Tibetan or Zen) speak to me the most, but I'd be open to mystics from other traditions. In terms of contemporary teachers, I like Adyashanti, Rupert Spira, Francis Lucille, Gangaji, and Sadhguru Jaggi Vashudev.

Is there anyone out there? I'm not looking for a meglomanic in disguise. I need someone who channels truth. Thanks in advance!

Start with http://www.dyp.nyc/

I met the two peeps who teach it and they were really nice.  They are direct students of Shinzen Young, who was also there at the dinner in which I interacted with them.

Try it out and let me know how it goes!

Thats their facebook group.  The two teachers I met, Janusz and Rakhel, do appear to be the moderators.  It seems that they have both a weekly class, and a meeting at Whole Foods afterwards.  I don't live on the east coast anymore, else I would be doing more exploration myself.
