Hey Pal, I don't know about London groups, but I can attest to the fun of going to lots of different groups in a big city.  I am doing that in Seattle now.  It gives a refreshing perspective on meditation after being on the DhO and practicing solo.

Yes that was my experience from going to a sitting group recommended by you guys (or was it ypu personally perhaps?)! I figure there must be bad groups though and my time there will be limited. If I was there all on my own I'd see a witches coven  or something though emoticon

Okay so I would google 'London meditation groups', make notes on which groups meet where on what days, and note what tradition they are from, and whether they are teacher or peer led.  The most enjoyable groups have some sitting meditation and some open discussion time.

I'm sure meetup.com has several meditation groups as well.

Good luck and be happy emoticon
