Hey Everyone,
I found Moojiji a few months back but forgot about him. Now I found him again.
To me he is very inspirational and his appearance is just love and wisdom. So pure.
From Wikipedia:
Mooji (born Anthony Paul Moo-Young on 29 January 1954) is a spiritual teacher originally from Jamaica.[1][2] Mooji is a disciple of Papaji, a devotee of the advaita and non-dual master Ramana Maharshi. Mooji shares self-inquiry, directing his students to the non-dual Self by asking the question "to whom do these thoughts arise?"
He mentions that there is a self and the self is the conciousness.
A few video´s where he explains this.

What are your thoughts/feelings...wisdom about this? Do you know him? Have you also found him inspirational?

Hi John,
I've seen many Mooji's vids over the years. I think one of the factors why he is so popular is because he was one of the first advaita-people on YouTube, uploading vids there, around 2007 or something like that. Another factor behind his popularity is probably his exotique, the rasta-man thing
I sort of like him and I hear that people get awakened in those circles which is wonderful. However, like with many advaitists, his sayings and points are often vague, sometimes even misleading, while on the other hand motivational and uplifting. Also, there seems to be no well-defined method/path to follow. As a whole I'm not sure how his followers mature after awakening.
According to OHBM, Open Heart Bhumi Model (search this forum with this word if not familiar), Mooji got to the 2nd bhumi last year, in 2015, after about 20 years of being awakened/1st bhumi. His teacher, Papaji, was 1st bhumi for all his life. Both of these levels of attainments are actually beginning levels but at least they were awakened. I know a well known Tibetan buddhist rinpoche out there touring around the world teaching "dzogchen" who is not even awakened. Perhaps the reason for Mooji's 2nd bhumi in comparison to his teacher's 1st bhumi is that Mooji is willing to admit that the relative aspect exists I've understood Papaji denied this point... which is foolish and plain immature.
I don't know why he is called Moojiji with two ji's. It's like saying John-sansan in Japanese.
My two cents.
