Concentration

increasing piti to the max / seeking second jhana

I've been getting into piti for a few months now.  It comes on fairly easily and goes from the barest tingle up to something that feels like it fills my head and upper body and sometimes legs, but is not so intense it's scary.  Sometimes when I maintain concentration well I feel like I 'pop' out of it and into something with just a memory of piti, very concentrated (for me at least) and peaceful, though I wouldn't call it blissful.

I'm wondering what I can do, even long-term, to increase the intensity of the piti, to achieve full 'jhana' piti, and ultimately to enter another jhana.  

Is there any practical advice for this situation?
