I am posting this on behalf of my friend Jim in Seattle Pragmatic Dharma Society.
Hello, fellow meditators!
I'm very happy to announce the launch of the Pragmatic Dharma Foundation! We are a recently formed, fully volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, whose mission is to provide scholarships to meditation retreats for students who otherwise couldn't attend due to cost. We've seen committed and talented meditators who have missed the opportunity to practice and learn on retreats due to money, and decided that simply shouldn't happen. Given the kindness and generosity of the meditation community, the only reason these folks weren't going on those retreats was the lack of an opportunity for the community to help. Now you can help fill that gap through the Pragmatic Dharma Foundation.
Our hope is to provide an opportunity for you to support your fellow meditators as they progress on their journey. Since we are completely volunteer-run, 100% of your donations will go directly to funding scholarships. If you're interested in making a one-time or recurring donation, you can do so right now by going to pragmaticdharmafoundation.org .
For scholarship recipients, we are targeting meditators interested in retreats aligned with Pragmatic Dharma (e.g., Culadasa, Shinzen Young, Daniel Ingram, Kenneth Folk, etc.). Though, being pragmatic, we are also open to other teachers and traditions. If you'd like to learn more about applying for a scholarship, please visit our website or reach out with any questions.
We are only just starting, and we're open to any help you can give. If you have a great idea of how to help this effort grow, please reach out to us via the contact form on pragmaticdharmafoundation.org!
Please feel free to share this widely on social media with others who may be interested in either funding or receiving scholarships.
Thank you for reading, and namaste!

Noah, your links are broken, you cut a 'g' off at the end of '.org'.
