Having a tough go at access concentration using the breath.
If you attain AC with the fire kasina, can you easily attain it with breathing?
Is it, by itself, a good enough foundation for moving onto insight practices and all jhanas?
All best

Hi Jack, I find attaining AC with fire Kasina or a mantra much easier than with breath. Having said that, I haven’t historically done a lot of breath practice.
Physical yoga asana using the breath can also get me into pretty concentrated states. I usually see a nimitta when I close my eyes to take rest (svasana) at the end of practice. Although nothing as detailed as the ones I get with fire Kasina.
