Hey folks,

Looking to set aside time for an affordable 7-10 day insight retreat in the US (preferably west coast) sometime in 2018. Wondering if anyone has recommendations. I've been waiting for some info on a late June VSI retreat with shinzen young in SoCal but figuring it's probably going to be pricey (the venue, food and everything looks classy).

I'll sleep in the dirt and eat ramen. I couldn't have any less fucks to give. Just a good teacher and a place to put my butt on a cushion.

Thanks Matthew! That place looks amazing.  Looks like they do either weekend or 30 day retreats but it's not far from me so I'll definitely be heading there soon for a weekend! 

They have 'special' retreats 4 times a year, the next one is in March.  Someone told me that the rules are different during a special retreat, that you can choose to sit for, say, 10 days if you want.  I haven't talked to them so asking them directly about this would be the way to go.

FYI, I reached out to them and this was their quick response via email:

"Hi Nick

You don’t have to attend the full month retreat. The min duration requirement is one full week. Just send in the application and attached check to reserve your space. Hope you can arrange the time to attend the retreat in March. Make it happens! The last two weeks usually less yogi than the first two.
