I have attained nirodha samapatti at this point, but I have a desire to develop things to the much finer degrees people such as Daniel have been able to accomplish. I have some mental health factors which make strict retreats probably a really bad idea. I could be wrong though. My intuitive approach to practice has not failed me yet, and it is telling me too much structure will stagnate things.

I also have a Chinese visa already, so retreats in China could be a second option.

I've done 2x 3-day retreats with Tucker Peck, and the approach is to do your own thing. There is a dharma talk every night, and a daily chat with the teacher. Not sure if that is what you are asking for.

He and Upali will be leading a 10 day retreat later this year in Arizona

This is an old thread, but in case anyone else has a similar question, check out the quiet weeks option at this zen center (upstate NY). I have not been there, so I can't vouch for it.
