Hi everyone,
I'm just a bit confused about Fruition. How is it different from just blacking out for a few moments? Is it because you're still conscious when it happens? How can that be? Are you just unaware that you're conscious? Given the fact that it's a non-experience, are you not aware of it while it's happening, but only upon reflecting back on it?
Thanks.

Fruitions change the mind, black outs don't. Another difference is the specific entrances and exits to fruitions. There is no consciousness and no objects during a fruition. It's like rebooting a computer from the computer's point of view.

Fruitions change the mind, and you see this on exit. It's like a computer doing a 'self-test' after reboot.

On the exit of a fruition, the re-booting period is very insightful. What is re-booting? Just doing it now, and it seems the sense of "being" is re-booting. It is absent for a second or two after a fruition. If you are good with apperception, it can in fact be lengthened into a longer PCE.
