Hey all, I really hope I can find help to some points of my practise.
When I note, I don't verbalize it, I simply objectify it. This is a point of major concern for me..
When I note like this, once my thoughts are nice and settled, I attempt to note whatever I feel is causing me to be aware of my consciousness or whatever implies a center point. Reality seems to wither after a bit with this practise, but having never reached an attainment I don't know if this is correct?
I'm normally good at samadhi, so sometimes when I find the noting is rigorous and I've hit what I believe is a new jhana I'll just chill out and concentrate on pure awareness, things will progress in a different way, and eventually I'll get back to noting, is this okay?
Sometimes when I note too intensely there will be an intense pressure of my frontal lobe and I feel like I'm beckoning a headache, I'll back off and shoot for a middle ground. Should I do this? Or is the headache deal normal or a sign of progress, like 3rd or 4th nana for instance?
Really hope you can help!!
