Before you have "penetrated the object," you perceive it as being made of solid, whole sensations. But if you look carefully and persistently enough, you should find that your perception of the object is in fact made up of little vibrating sensations, always changing.

I agree.

These vibrations can present in many different ways.

Sometimes they are just like you would figure: you see, feel, hear or whatever a distinct and specific vibrations of a specific frequency.

Sometimes you can just see or feel the object present and vanish and present and vanish, etc. like that.

Sometimes you will see how the mind samples the object: noticing how it actually takes lots of little impressions from around what seems to be a solid object to make up the sense of solidity.

Seeing any of these things is penetrating the true nature of the many sensations that make up the objects we call this world and ourselves.
