Hi folks,

Have you witnessed spiritual/meditation teacher or teachers demonstrating concentration and (various) meditation (states) to their students? I mean really, like "Look and observe how I do this". I never saw any teachers do it until it occurred to me that it would actually be beneficial for my students, so I started to do it, demonstrating all kinds of things.

I have and that was just awesome. It was by a Tibetan lama and as we were supposed to keep our eyes open, I could see lama's eyes and his concentration would not wave even for a tiny little bit. Too bad that he moved to some other place after some time.

Precisely! So it wasn't a demonstration per se but an open eye meditation when you could see your teacher's eyes, right?

That was the way we were supposed to meditate, with our eyes open. As our eyes were open, I could see lama's eyes and he could see mine. It was a meditation session in which lama demonstrated the concentration one could reach. I would consider it one step ahead of just demonstrating meditation because I was doing the practice at the same time rather than having the demonstration first and then practicing later. There is no need for any words so demonstration and practice can happen at the same time.
