Didn't find a thread about this so figured I'd start one.

This must be quite common? If I remember correctly, it was mentioned as one phase in Daniels book. For me, I'm not sure if it's a phase.. I've been obsessed with my posture for few years. I feel like it's becoming a hindrance to my practice, because it's difficult to relax when I'm fixing my posture all the time, trying to get the breath flow as well as possible.

Mostly this is a problem when sitting in formal meditation and when trying to get sleep. I don't really mind it while I'm on the computer or elsewhere.

Anyone else have this or went through a phase?

They're not really that subtle for me I think. It's pretty obvious when my neck is slouching and rebelling sll that ergonomy is.

I found a good way to deal with this; I consider my body as dead weight. Just letting it be however it is. This broadens the perspective nicely away from the body. Just have to remember and keep up this viewpoint.

Sounds like that would be psychologically good and helpful for meditation but then there is ergonomy too. I don't want too mess up my body :/
