A very interesting article proposing that Impermanence may not be the exact translation for Anicca.

The guy who wrote this thinks that anatta = a + natta. I wouldn't consider him an authority on the subject emoticon

True! He is probably an amateur. But, I kind of like his line of thinking. Although, the word "Impermanence" serves well if we define the "all" or "the world" as phenomena experienced by the six senses. As far as I remember, that was the paradigm Daniel encouraged in MCTB for Vipassana.

I prefer to look at it as external and internal objects. Any experience is impermanent. Clinging to it causes dukkha, and because the entire human experience inside and outside is impermanent then no self is about how we can't OWN these impermanent experiences. Part of the problem of clinging is meditating and clinging to inner experiences and being stuck.

Good karma brings good things.  Bad karma brings bad things.

No matter how good we are, no matter how high in haven we go, it will eventually end

This means the universe is a big game where we go up and down the planes of existence depending on our karma

Since the game is not win-able we want to exit the game.

Final Nirvana is exiting the game.

This is Anicca. This is Buddhism.

You get it, bro! I like your writing style.

Keeping in mind, Good Kamma is actually conducive to escaping the game given it is done with the understanding that this shall help my mental development and also benefit others (win-win). Until, it just becomes a habit.

The Dana Sutta is very interesting in this regards. It reminds me of some Bhagavad-Gita concepts.

I think it is more useful to think of it as you are imagining this game.  It isn't real.  Nothing is doing anything.  You dont need to escape, just stop pretending anything is happening, anything is wrong or that you are responsible for anything.  In that moment of complete acceptance, self is moot.
