As far as I can tell... last summer I figured out I'm a cartoon of ADD and went down the rabbit hole with neuropsychology.
I intellectually got that there is no solid self and had some sort of A+P no self-experience.

My meditator friend told me it might be Stream Entry. I had never hear of that. I googled it and thought it was that because I was thinking very specifically and disconnectedly about the 3 fetters. I wasn't trying to claim high attainments, I was just encountering everything for the first time. 

I called around to see if I should get a brainscan. My little bro freaked out and got me committed.

I don't doubt it! That was super intense, and I didn't figure out that you have to talk about this stuff differently, so I got surprised that I couldn't explain it. I could see getting snapped into psychosis. Not me in this case. Manic behaviour? Sure. Weirdo? Always. Psychosis? Absolutely not. I was meditating with a buddy when the cops came to my house. They were so friendly and told me I seemed fine, and that I'd be in and out. Didn't even cuff me. Had some nice email exchanges with them after. 

It was pretty silly. Basically, if you say that a family member is a danger to themselves or others, you can fill out what's called a form 1 and get a mandatory check. I try not to air my laundry about this but what he wrote on there wasn't true, and he has a history of stunts like this.

I enjoyed the first two episodes of your podcasts.  I particularly enjoyed the blue grassy song at the end of the second podcast.  Keep them coming and stay weird!  We need more people in the world like you.  Do you have any songs on other platforms?     I am so sorry the sister was eaten by the snake in the pet store. 

I liked the story. Had me laughing.

I enjoyed your story interacting with the hospital staff and the therapist.

Is yours broken or something? Have you tried turning it off then on again?

If that doesn't work, maybe he needs an expert to debug it.

The part about being naive reminds me of when an autistic guy calling himself Radioactive Richard decided to split one single atom at home in the kitchen because he was nerdily fascinated about the science of it. When he wrote about it openly, sharing his "how to", he got the feedback (from me and several others) that authorities probably wouldn't be okay about it. He couldn't believe it. After all, it was just one atom, and every single ingredient used in the process was acquired legally. So he called the radiation protection authority and told them and then said "that's okay, right?", whereupon he found his home totally surrended by police cars the very next moment. Ooops. 

The news articles spread all over the world informed the readers that "no fatal levels of radiations were found in the neighborhood". I bet he did it, split just one atom.

This is so good Dan: insightful and funny. You have a real gift.

It made me smile that your response to your detention was just to become a bit talkative and petulant. You also dealt with the A+P better than many of us, me included. You have a fine mind and a kind heart and it's been a privilege to get to know you a little through your podcast. 

Would you go say a bit more about this? I had a very powerful expereince and since losing it I've been very much out of sorts.
