Do you have Morton's Toe?

Pull your big toe and second toe together. If the second toe is longer, you have Morton's toe. (It does not have to be massively longer as featured in that Wikipedia photograph; just longer at all is Morton's toe.)

Morton's toe is also known as the Greek foot. Here are some charts of other foot types:

Only 10% of the general population have Morton's toe (source).

I am predicting that a far higher proportion of people in this community will have Morton's toe. I will explain why once the results are in. emoticon

I don't, but my mother does. It's driven her crazy because it's hard to find shoes that fit.

I don't have it.  Mine is the "Egyptian type" in the picture.

I don't think so here.  They're about the same length and I've never had foot problems.

According to this criteria, I don't have morton's toe.

But mortonstoe.com says something slightly different, that it's the relative length of the first-second metatarsals that matters:

> If the space between your first and second toe appears to be deeper, not wider, but deeper than the space between your second and third toes, you have Morton's Toe

According to that, I do have morton's toe.  Now I want to know what it means, so I can side with the criteria that says yes I have it, or no I don't have it and allows me to go on believing that I'm special.
