Just achieved stream entry and wrote a whole post about my journey, didn't finish and clicked "Save draft". I can't find it, where is it? 

Should be in whatever category you decided to post it and should look like a normal post.

Sometimes, because of certain bugs in the platform that is used in this forum, a post is not saved and it disappears. So you should always write in another editor, ideally save it there, then copy it and paste it here, to not lose your effort.
 

When that happened to me, I found it when clicking "my posts".

Personally, I just mark all of it and copy it before I publish, and if it's not saved I put it into a different editor afterwards. That saves me a lot of effort. 

Wouldn't it make sense to disable the "Save Draft" functionality altogether, then? Do you know if that would be difficult?

Currently there is no development happening on the platform.
Disabling Save Draft wouldn't fix that issue. They are unrelated.
And people use drafts, so it's not a good idea to disable it.
