It took me way longer than it should have to make this, i had to learn a bunch of new skills, I know the advice is not perfect, but i thought I would share it here. If it doesn't fit it can be taken down! Thanks regardless, let me know what you think!

That was pretty good! You missed an apostraphe in "Today's" but that's nitpicking.
Yeah, going on retreat in order to use meditation as a productivity enhancing tool seems rather risky to me. We regularly see how meditation can land people in serious difficulty here on this forum. A little basic daily practice is probably safe enough for most people, but an intensive retreat is a whole different animal. Not something I would personally advise people to do for anything other than spiritual reasons. People who have been inadvertently launched on spiritual quests without realizing what they signed up for are in for a tough time--no turning back at that point. I've met people like this and it's sad to see.
